Over the years the treatment of infection with HIV have improved considerably and what was once a death sentence is now another treatable chronic disease. This has created challenges as there is considerable fatigue and complacency around HIV. However , we are continuing with our efforts, particularly as tuberculosis (TB) is closely associated with HIV infection and is a major problem in Southern Africa. HIV must be correctly managed if TB is to be beaten. The magnitude of the health challenge posed by HIV/AIDS is such that individuals companies cannot adequately address it alone and we reiterate that a comprehensive and effective response to HIV/AIDS requires a partnership between all stakeholders
DISCRIMINATION AND STIGMA ELIMINATION
Confidentiality
An employee who is HIV-positive or in on the verge of becoming HIV-positive, has the right to privacy and secrecy, as does the public. In the event of any employee who has gone through or is going through difficult time, any additional medical or psychological issues are similar occurrence employee who are HIV-positive are not required to work, notify management or anybody else in the organisation their HIV status, and their organisation, there is no reason to require job candidates to personal information about HIV should not be disclosed. Nor are workers obligated to share such private information.
